On Call 36 hours Now I understand it takes more than doing a good job. Doctors aren't infallible. There are lots of factors to consider like the medical system, the other medical personnel and the patients themselves. If the patient doesn't care about his own health, what can we do for him? We're doctors. We're not superheroes. It's impossible for us to know everything. The patient has enlightened me. When a person is sick it's not just about himself, his emotion will be affected as well as his family. If we can do a little more, we'd heal not just the patient but also his family. The fact is it takes more than the medical personnel to cure a person, family support is very important too. Everyone has different hopes for life.
