Understanding Menstruation
Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine wall and blood flowing through the vagina. Menstrual cycle is influenced by female sex hormones. Premenstrual symptoms include abdominal pain, headache, weakness and moodiness.
Menstruation phase (1-5th day)
-breaking down of the lining of uterine wall together with the blood vessels.
Repair phase (6-11th day)
-uterine wall become thicker and richer in blood vessels.
Fertile phase (12-16th day)
-uterine wall and the blood vessels continue develop.
-ovulation occurs in the 14th day.
Premenstrual phase (17-28th day)
-fertilisation occurs.
-get ready for implantation.
